I love my boyfriend... jeans that is

Yes, its been a while since I have posted and that's due to the high demands of exam time... sigh. But I'm back and with a new trend that is sitting comfortably number one on my 'must purchase right now!' list (no pun intended). They're stylish, they're comfy and they're totally on trend right now! Next time your in Just Jeans or other trusted denim bearing stores, via away from the uncomfortable super skinnies and navigate towards a pair of baggy boyfriends jeans. They are a must in your wardrobe this season. Perfect for any weather, boyfriend jeans can be worn in multiple ways. Worn with heels you can dress them up, throw on a blazer and your ready to hit the city or a lunch date with friends. The beauty of this garment is that they are so versatile you can literally wear them anywhere, any time and in any way! A must buy this season!

The Wintour Effect

Anna Wintour in her signature shades whilst at a fashion show

The burden of winter has well and truly hit Australia, and even though the sun sets much earlier now, one trend that dose not take into account the very limited hours of sun during the day is that of large, cooky, statement sunglasses. The legend that is Ms Wintour has been rocking shades ever since she started out on her journey to conquer the publishing industry and now her love for oversize shades has been replicated by almost every fashionista. Whether they are large, square, circular, pink or even framed by crazy designs people are going mad trying to claim the title for the 'most outrageous yet super fashionable spectacles' my vote goes to two of my favourite fashion bloggers from 'How Two Live', they are seen sporting matching flower power sunglasses at this years Australian Fashion Week. The girls from 'How Two Live' are huge ambassadors of cooky glasses, they easily take the cake for the most outrageous shades as they always rock a new pair of crazy designed frames and incorporate them into their looks. My favourite shades are plain, tortoise shell or black with oversized square and circular frames! I have a very big weakness for sunglasses, they happen to be my favourite accessory and I have built up quite a collection... even if they do all look very similar... I still find an immense amount of joy when I put them on, it gives me a sense of a more superior attitude and gives me inner confidence. I know it sounds crazy but to me they are like a security blanket, I rely on them to complete my look, as Rachel Zoe would say, "without them I feel naked"... and she couldn't be more accurate!

Seleana Gomez rocking           My very own collection... as i said, all very
an oversize pair of shades       similar!

Simplicity At It's Finest...

This necklace had me staring at the screen of my laptop for a good half hour, contemplating to myself how something as delicate as this necklace could be so beautiful and powerful at the same time. Its simplicity is what gets me drooling over its sterling silver finish, the fact that just worn with a casual white singlet can bring a look from 'casual everyday' to 'casual classy'. I just cant seem to put my finger on what it is that sets this piece apart from the rest, but one thing I am certain of is that it has to be mine! If I owned this magical piece of jewellery I would match it up with a plain top, jeans and sandles or heels to finish off the look. It just gets me every time its actually gorgeous, 10 points for a reader who can point me into the right direction of this masterpiece!!

Feeling under the weather?

Winter is well and truly under way here in Australia, while most peoples defence against the cold is being locked inside in front of the fire, reading a book and consuming monstrous amounts of chocolate... don't lie, we all do it! However, my view on winter is the complete opposite. Yes, it may be because winter fashion is my favourite, but honestly, winter shouldn't be a time to pull out the dusty fat pants that all females have stuffed in the back of our closets, it should be a time for fashion appreciation! I mean, when else during the year can we layer jackets on top of jumpers and be able to throw a woolly scarf on too? I mean, hello! Winter = layering! It fills me with joy thinking that its that special time of the year where I can walk into a shop and feel confident about buying three jumpers and four new pairs of gloves... well, you get what I mean!
